     Welcome to Max Rays Music. This website showcases the music of composer Tim Kloth. Timothy Kloth first studied composition, while in high school, with David Cope at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Continuing to major in composition and music theory, he earned a BM at Capital University's Conservatory of Music, an MM at the Eastman School of Music, and his DMA from the University of North Texas. Major professors included Larry Austin, Warren Benson, Merrill Ellis, Martin Mailman, and Joseph Schwantner.

     Dr. Kloth is retired from the Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia, specializing in elementary music education and Orff Schulwerk. His American Orff Schulwerk Association levels and master classes were with Rene Boyer, Steven Calantropio. Rossana Cota, Richard Layton, Matt McCoy, and Victoria, Redfearn Cave.
